The minimum pay per acceptable collection is $40. However, this amount can be increased by consenting to additional information to release. These are completely optional but give the opportunity to earn more per sample. This information is then used by potential recipients in picking a donor and by previous recipients to compare characteristics to their offspring. Donors can consent to release as many or as few as they like.

Although we will have a current photo on file for our records. You can consent to release it or another photo. You may choose to update the photo later after you’ve completed the program or leave the current photo from when you were collecting
Silhouette

The silhouette is a picture taken from the side but then completely blacked out. This just leaves the features on the profile visible.
Audio

Questions are given to the donor ahead of time and any identifying information is bleeped out. This gives recipients the chance to hear the donor’s voice and get a sense of their personality based on the answers.
ID release

If the donor consents to ID release, that means when the offspring turns 18 years old contact information can be released. This will require donors to keep in touch with us over the years to update any changes in contact information.
Total pay is time compensation for each freezable sample collected. Escrow pay is deposited into an escrow account and paid following a 6 month quarantine. Base pay is paid the month of collection and is approximately two- thirds of the total pay. For example the total pay for a sample with no consents to release extra information is $40 and breaks down as follows:

Escrow is released on a monthly basis, and not in one lump sum every six months.
After your final collection, all of your escrow will be released when your final blood draw test results are available.
